What we tend to find here
Ogden's historic districts are full of pre-1930 brick homes with the problems that come with them: original wiring updated in patches, chimneys and parapets shedding mortar, and roofs carrying more layers than code allows. Out toward Roy, Riverdale and the north Ogden bench the stock is mostly post-war and later, where the recurring findings are aging furnaces, water heaters past their service life and additions built without permits.
