How we got here
IXL began in certified thermography: commercial roof surveys, electrical switchgear, industrial equipment — the kind of work where a missed hotspot costs a facility a production line. That is a discipline with real standards behind it, and it shapes how we inspect a house.
When we started doing residential work, we did not buy a cheaper camera or lower the standard of documentation. Home buyers get the same instruments and the same reporting rigor that a commercial client gets.
What we are actually for
An inspection report is not the product. The product is you understanding the house.
We would rather spend the extra twenty minutes walking you through what we found than hand over a PDF and leave. Our aim is to give you the knowledge to protect your investment, improve the safety of the place you live, and decide what needs doing first — not to produce the longest list of defects we can find.
Where we work
We inspect homes across Utah. There is no office to visit — we are a mobile service and we come to the property. Most of our work is along the Wasatch Front, with regular trips into the mountain valleys and the northern counties.
